Terms & conditions
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These are the rules of booking with 4TheKidz. We’ve written them in plain English so there are no surprises — by making an enquiry or a booking you agree to them.
1. An enquiry isn’t a booking
Sending the enquiry form tells us what you’d like and lets us check the date is free. Your party is only reserved once you’ve paid the deposit. Dates and times go to the first person who pays, so if someone else books your slot first, we’ll ask you to choose a new one.
2. Confirming your booking
Once we’ve approved your enquiry, you pay a deposit of 50% of the total (party, extras and travel). That’s what actually books the party. You can pay the whole amount instead if you’d prefer — either way, the deposit is what secures your date and time.
3. Prices, durations and what’s included
Every package has a starting price for one hour, and each extra half hour adds £25. Parties run for 1, 1½ or 2 hours, except Teen and Adult parties which can go up to 5 hours.
- Every party ends with a medal or gift for the birthday child.
- Party game packages include prizes. Just Disco, Teen Parties and Adult Parties don’t include game prizes.
- All prices are in British pounds.
- Prices can change over time, but a booking you’ve already paid for keeps the price you were quoted.
4. Extras and travel
- A smoke, snow or bubble machine: one is included free, a second costs £5, and all three cost £10.
- Balloon making can be added for £15.
- Travel is free within 30 miles of our base in SA5 5NS. Beyond that we add £10 for every extra 10 miles. We work the distance out in a straight line from your postcode, so road miles can be a little longer.
5. Paying the balance
If you paid a deposit, the rest must be paid no later than the day before your party. If it isn’t, we may have to cancel the party. Your deposit is non-refundable if a payment is missed. We’ll send you a reminder about a week before if a balance is still owed, but it’s still your responsibility to pay on time.
6. Changing your booking
Tell us as soon as you can if anything needs to change — the date, the start time, the address, the number of children or the extras. We’ll always try to help. Date and time changes depend on availability, and if your new date costs more we’ll tell you the difference before you agree to it.
7. Cancelling
If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable, and if you cancel after paying your balance we can’t refund payments already made. We’ll always do our best to move your party to a new date instead, where we can.
8. If we have to cancel
If something outside our control stops us coming — illness, for example — we’ll contact you straight away and offer another date. If we can’t find a date that suits you, we’ll refund everything you’ve paid. We won’t cancel a party without telling you first.
9. Your responsibilities
- An adult must be present and supervising the children throughout the party.
- The party space needs to be safe and clear — no trip hazards, sharp edges or fragile items within reach.
- Tell us in advance about allergies, medical needs, access requirements or anything else we should know.
- Make sure there’s safe access and parking at the venue, and let us know if there’s anything unusual about getting in.
10. Equipment and space
Smoke, snow and bubble machines need a safe, dry area with a nearby power socket. If conditions make it unsafe to use them — for example a wet floor — we may leave them out, and we’ll tell you at the time.
11. Behaviour
We’re here for fun and for everyone’s safety. If behaviour becomes dangerous or abusive we may stop the party early. We can’t refund time we weren’t able to finish.
12. Property and liability
We take care with your home and venue, but we aren’t responsible for lost or damaged belongings or for injuries that were already there. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
13. Complaints
If something wasn’t right, email us first at 4thekidz.contact@gmail.com and tell us what happened. We’ll look into it and do our best to put it right.
14. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
