How a 4TheKidz booking works, from first enquiry to the day itself — and what happens if plans change.
How booking works
- Send an enquiry — choose your package, how long you’d like, the date, the start time and any extras, then tell us where the party is. You’ll see the full price before you send it.
- We check the date — you’ll get an email telling you whether your date and time are free.
- Pay the deposit — half the total. This is what actually books the party.
- Pay the balance — the rest by the day before your party at the latest.
Your deposit
The deposit is 50% of the total (party, extras and travel). It secures your date and time, and dates go to the first person who pays — so the sooner you pay, the safer your slot. Your deposit is non-refundable if a payment is missed.
The final payment
If you paid a deposit, the balance must be paid no later than the day before your party. If it isn’t, the party may be cancelled. You can pay the full amount up front instead and have nothing else to settle.
We’ll remind you
If a balance is still owed about a week before your party, we’ll email you a reminder with what’s outstanding and a link to pay. Please don’t rely on the reminder alone — it’s still your responsibility to pay on time.
Changing your date, time or details
Email us as soon as you can. Date and time changes depend on availability. If we can’t take your new date, you can suggest another one and we’ll do our best to fit you in. If your new details change the price — for example a further postcode — we’ll tell you the difference before anything is changed.
If you need to cancel
Tell us by email as soon as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable, and payments already made can’t be refunded. Where we can, we’d much rather move your party to a new date than lose it — just ask.
If we have to cancel
If illness or something outside our control stops us coming, we’ll contact you straight away, offer another date, and refund everything you’ve paid if we can’t find a date that suits.
Travel
Parties within 30 miles of our base in SA5 5NS travel free. Beyond that we add £10 for every extra 10 miles, based on the straight-line distance from your postcode. If you’re further afield, email us and we’ll let you know whether we can reach you before you pay anything.
What every party includes
A medal or gift for the birthday child at the end. Party game packages also include prizes — Just Disco, Teen Parties and Adult Parties don’t. A smoke, snow or bubble machine is included free, and you can add more.
